Philadelphia 76ers center Jahlil Okafor has been ruled out of Monday's game against the Orlando Magic because of soreness in his right knee.

Okafor, who was the No. 3 overall pick of the 2015 draft, played in 12 minutes of Sunday's 105-99 win over the Boston Celtics before sitting out due to discomfort.

Second-year center Richaun Holmes is expected to start in place of the 21-year-old Okafor, who is averaging 11.9 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game this season.

Holmes, who played 29 minutes on Sunday, finished with eight points, seven rebounds, five assists, four blocks and two steals versus the Celtics.
