World Series Game 6 Bets

Prop Bets

Jorge Soler first home run 12/1 DraftKings .5x unit

Same bet as Game 5, Soler is batting 2nd in the Braves lineup tonight. I like the 1st home run price with Soler batting 2nd to leadoff the top of the first inning over his + 350 anytime home run price. Added bonus, if he doesn’t hit a home run in his first at bat and you have live betting you can bet Soler to hit a home run live at a better number.

Max Fried over 4.5 strikeouts + 105 off-shore 1x unit

Max Fried has been throwing between 81 and 90 pitches a start during the Braves 2021 playoff run. Fried had 6 strikeouts  (and gave up 7 hits and 6 ER in 5 innings in Game 2 vs. the Astros and I think he’s going to perform better tonight. Having a DH hurts slightly but I think Fried brings his best stuff tonight, he knows this is his last start of the season.

World Series MVP

DraftKings odds

Soler + 600

Freeman + 700

Duvall + 750

Riley + 800

D'arnaud + 900

Altuve + 1000

Brantley + 1100

Other Notables

Ian Anderson + 2000

Gurriel 30/1

Max Fried + 6000 (today's starter)

Luis Garcia + 8000 (today's starter)

Westgate Odds

Riley 5/1

Soler 8/1

D'arnaud 8/1

Duvall 10/1

Rosario and Freeman 12/1

Gurriel 12/1

Anderson 16/1

Altuve 20/1

Fried 1000/1

Here are some stats on the top contenders:

Austin Riley 8 hits in 21 at bats. 3 doubles, 3 RBIs, 8 strikeouts. .381/.381/.524, 3rd in OPS leading the braves in hits

Travis d'arnaud: 7 hits in 20 at bats, plus he's the catcher. 1 double, 2 home runs, 8 strikeouts. .350/.350/.700 slugging.

Jorge Soler tied 3rd in hits with Freddie Freeman and Eddie Rosario with 5. 1 double, 2 home runs, 3 RBIs, 6 strikeouts, .294/.368/.706, leading the braves in slugging and OPS. also had the Kirk Gibson pinch hit home run moment. He's my MVP pick.

Adam Duvall has 4 hits in 20 at bats, 2 home runs (Grand slam) 6 RBIs, batting .200/.238/.500 with 5 strikeouts he's not winning MVP.

If you assume (like I do) that the MVP is most likely going to a Braves hitter if they win I think the most likely MVP candidates are Austin Riley and Jorge Soler. With Jorge Soler MVP tickets in hand at 35/1 and 40/1 I am betting the following.

Jorge Soler over 1.5 strikeouts + 160 at DraftKings risking 1x

Jorge Soler under .5 total bases + 125 (offshore) risking 1x

Jorge Soler Hits/Runs/RBIs under 2 (offshore) -115 to win 1x

Austin Riley MVP + 850 at BetMGM risking 1x
