For an updated breakdown of Wednesday's betting action, be sure to tune in to the VSiN Market Insights Podcast with Josh Appelbaum. It will be posted by 3 p.m. ET. I'll also be co-hosting Betting Across America with Mike Pritchard from 3 to 4 p.m. ET. In the meantime, let's discuss where smart money is leaning for a trio of MLB games tonight...

6:40 p.m. ET: Los Angeles Angels (37-45) at Miami Marlins (39-40)

The Marlins took Tuesday night's Interleague series opener 2-1, cashing as -145 home favorites. In tonight's rematch, Los Angeles turns to two-way ace Shohei Ohtani (7-4, 2.68 ERA) and Miami trots out lefty Trevor Rogers (4-6, 5.56 ERA). This line opened with the Angels listed as a -145 road favorite and the Marlins a +125 home dog. Sharps have pounced on the modest chalk price on Ohtani, steaming the Angels up from -145 to -170. Non-division road favorites are 148-86 (63%) this season. Los Angeles also has value as a favorite in a low total game (7). Ohtani posted a 1.52 ERA in June and the Angels won four of his five June starts. Rogers posted a 7.06 ERA in June.

7:10 p.m. ET: Tampa Bay Rays (44-37) at Boston Red Sox (45-36)

These AL East rivals have split the first two games of the series. The Red Sox took the opener 4-0, cashing as -120 home favorites. Then the Rays bounced back with an 8-4 win on Tuesday, cashing as +110 road dogs. In tonight's rubber match, Tampa Bay starts veteran righty Corey Kluber (3-5, 3.91 ERA) and Boston taps rookie righty Brayan Bello (no record). Bello is making his MLB debut. He is Boston's top pitching prospect and has gone 10-4 with a 2.33 ERA this season in the minors. This line opened with Boston listed as a short -110 home favorite and Tampa Bay a +100 road dog. Pros have backed Boston, steaming the Red Sox up from -110 to -130. Favorites off a loss who made the playoffs the previous season are 145-83 (65%). The Red Sox are 27-17 as a favorite and 21-17 at home. Boston holds the edge at the plate, hitting .261 compared to .236 for Tampa Bay.

9:40 p.m. ET: San Francisco Giants (40-39) at Arizona Diamondbacks (37-44)

The Diamondbacks have taken the first two games of this NL West series, winning the opener 8-3 as +165 home dogs and then winning again yesterday 6-2 as +145 home dogs. In tonight's series finale, San Francisco starts righty Alex Cobb (3-3, 4.59 ERA) and Arizona sends out fellow righty Merrill Kelly (7-5, 3.46 ERA). This line opened with the Giants listed as a -140 road favorite and the Diamondbacks a +125 home dog. Pros have jumped on Arizona to complete the sweep, dropping the Snakes down from +125 to +115. The Diamondbacks have value as a divisional dog off a win with a line move in their favor. The Giants have lost six straight games and are now just 2-10 in their last 12 games. Arizona is 4-2 in Kelly's last six starts.
