VSiN is looking for a part-time audio engineer

Vegas Stats and Information Network (VSiN), seeks a Part-Time Audio Engineer Technician for Radio/Television broadcasts.

Responsibilities include maintaining the integrity of all associated audio and support equipment. Setting up and testing sound equipment before broadcasts.  Become fully knowledgeable in all aspects of the operation and basic maintenance of the audio system, including the audio console, IFB system, and support systems. Perform set up operations and continuously monitor audio levels from all sources throughout production to ensure continuous quality control based upon established industry standards.  Enhance sound quality for broadcast. Resolve technical issues when they arise. Able to adapt to changing and sometimes difficult work environments and situations. Must bring proven experience and technical expertise in sound engineering techniques. Ability to work non-traditional hours (weekends/holidays) a must. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
