World Cup Best Bets: USA vs Iran, Eric Wynalda Prediction
Former U.S. Men’s National Team Striker Joins VSiN’s Follow the Money
Former U.S. Men’s National Soccer team striker, Eric Wynalda, joined Mitch Moss and Pauly Howard on VSiN’s Follow The Money to share his thoughts, and a bold prediction, regarding Tuesday’s World Cup match between the U.S. and Iran.
The Group B match is enormously important to both sides. The winner moves on. The loser is knocked out of the competition. A tie eliminates the U.S. and catapults Iran into the next round.
Because a win earns 3 points and a tie earns 1, the U.S. must win in order to finish first or second in the group. The top 2 teams in each group move on to the next round of 16 teams, which begins this Saturday, December 3rd.
