Vegas casino owner to bet $352K on first-round tourney games, live on VSiN's Selection Sunday Special

A Las Vegas hotel and casino owner will participate in VSiN’s "Selection Sunday Special" to the tune of $352,000.
Derek Stevens, owner of the D Hotel in Las Vegas and known around town for his showmanship, will make $11,000 bets on all 32 first-round men’s tournament games based on the opening lines set at the South Point Hotel and Casino during VSiN’s live show, to be broadcast on SiriusXM and VSiN.com.
Is Chris Andrews, director of the sports book at the South Point, nervous about setting 32 lines in such a short time with so much money riding on those opening spreads?
“Of course I’m a little nervous,’’ Andrews told host Brent Musburger on Saturday’s “My Guys in the Desert” show on SiriusXM. “That isn’t something that happens everyday.”
VSiN’s programming on Sunday begins at 3 ET/noon PT on SiriusXM (Sirius Channel 215, XM Channel 204 and on the SiriusXM app on 968).
The brackets will be announced, the lines set and Stevens’ bets placed starting at 6 ET/3PT.
