Bettors have a loaded betting menu today, including 15 MLB games and Game 1 of the NBA Finals. For an updated breakdown of Tuesday's betting action, be sure to tune in to the VSiN Market Insights Podcast with Josh Appelbaum. It will be posted at 1 p.m. ET. I'll also be co-hosting Betting Across America with Mike Pritchard from 3-5 p.m. ET to go over all of today's action in greater depth.

In the meantime, let's discuss where the action is flowing for a trio of Tuesday games.

7:10 p.m. ET: Los Angeles Dodgers (53-32) at Miami Marlins (36-47)

The Marlins stole last night's series opener 5-4, cashing as + 110 home dogs. The loss snapped a nine-game win streak for the Dodgers. In tonight's rematch, Los Angeles hands the ball to righty Tony Gonsolin (1-0, 2.81 ERA) and Miami counters with fellow righty Pablo Lopez (4-5, 2.97 ERA). This line opened with the Dodgers listed as a short -120 road favorite and the Marlins a + 110 home dog. Both Pros and Joes are backing the Dodgers to bounce back with a win, as we've seen Los Angeles get steamed from -120 to -135. Non-division favorites with 10-cents of steam or more are 174-99 (64%) this season. The Dodgers have value as a favorite with a low total (7.5). The fewer amount of expected runs scored, the more likely they come from the "better" team. The Dodgers are 53-29 as a favorite. The Marlins are 20-33 as a dog. Los Angeles is 38-22 against righties. Miami is 26-31 against righties.

9 p.m. ET: Milwaukee Bucks at Phoenix Suns

This is Game 1 of the NBA Finals. To get here, the Bucks swept the Heat, beat the Nets in seven games and then took down the Hawks in six games. Milwaukee is 12-5 straight up in the playoffs and 10-7 ATS. Now Milwaukee faces the Suns, who beat the Lakers in six games, swept the Nuggets and edged the Clippers in six games. Phoenix is 12-4 straight up in the playoffs and 11-5 ATS. This Game 1 line opened with Phoenix listed as a 5.5-point home favorite. Respected money has sided with the Suns, driving Phoenix up from -5.5 to -6. Some shops are flirting with a further rise to -6.5. Favorites with a line move in their directions are 28-23 ATS (55%) this postseason. Favorites of 6.5-point or less are  40-27 ATS (60%). The Suns are 8-3 ATS as favorites this playoffs, including 5-2 ATS as home favorites. We've also seen some over money show up, driving this total from 217.5 to 218.5. Totals that rise at least one point are 16-13 (55%) to the over this postseason. Giannis is listed as doubtful for Game 1 with a hyperextended knee. One big advantage here for the Suns is added rest. Phoenix hasn't played since June 30th, while the Bucks last played on July 3rd. The Suns are a -190 favorite (66%) to win the series. The Bucks are a + 160 dog.

9:38 p.m. ET: Boston Red Sox (54-32) at Los Angeles Angels (42-42)

The Red Sox won Monday's series opener 5-4, cashing as -124 road favorites. Boston is now 10-1 over their last eleven games. In tonight's rematch, the Red Sox start righty Nathan Eovaldi (9-4, 3.41 ERA) and the Angels send out two-way stud Shohei Ohtani (3-1, 3.60 ERA). This line opened at a pick'em with both sides listed at -105. The public leans toward Ohtani at home, yet we've seen this line move slightly to Boston (-105 to -110). This signals some wiseguy money backing the red-hot Red Sox. Short favorites -150 or less coming off a win are 96-63 (60%) this season. Boston is 29-19 as a favorite. Los Angeles is 16-21 as a dog. The Red Sox are 36-20 against righties. The Angels are 29-29 against righties. Boston is 27-15 on the road, best record in MLB. We've also seen some under money make an appearance, dropping the total from 9.5 to 9.
