8 p.m. ET: American League vs National League

This is the 92nd edition of the Midsummer Classic. The American League has dominated the matchup as of late, winning the last eight All Star games. The American League has won 15 of the last 18 and 20 of the last 24. However, the American League only holds an overall edge of 46-43-2.

In tonight's matchup, the American League hands the ball to Rays lefty Shane McClanahan (10-3, 1.71 ERA) and the National League counters with fellow Dodgers southpaw Clayton Kershaw (7-2, 2.13 ERA). Kershaw enjoys home-field advantage as the game will be played at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. McClanahan is the favorite to win the AL Cy Young at +210 at BetMGM. Kershaw is a +6600 longshot to win the NL Cy Young.

This line opened with the National League listed as a slight -110 home favorite and the American League a +100 road dog. The line hasn't budged off the opener, signaling balanced two way action. Without any movement to date, bettors would be wise to wait to see which way the line breaks on game day. However, pros have targeted the total. It opened at 8 and we've seen the under juiced to -120, signaling under liability. Some books have even dropped to 7.5. This signals respected money on a lower scoring game. The under is 12-2-1 over the last 15 All Star Games.
