7:30 p.m. ET: American League at National League
This is the 91st MLB All-Star Game and it takes place in the rarified air of Coors Field, home of the Colorado Rockies. The American League will hand the ball to two-way phenom Shohei Ohtani (4-1, 3.49 ERA) and the National League counters with veteran ace Max Sherzer (7-4, 2.66 ERA). This game opened at a true pick'em with both sides listed at -105. The American League has dominated the All-Star game in recent years, winning seven straight games and going 19-3-1 over the last 23 games. However, despite this trend, we've seen some respected money get down on the National League, driving the NL up from -105 to -114. The under is 7-3 over the last ten All Star games and 12-3 over the last 15 games. But pros are bucking this trend as well. The total opened at 10.5 and quickly got bet up to 11. The forecast calls for high 80s with 7-10 MPH winds blowing out to center, ideal hitting conditions. Also, despite the game being played in a National League ballpark, both teams will employ the Designated Hitter, which further aids the offense.
