Tennis best bets for the Miami Open men's and women's finals

The Miami Open finals are this weekend and we're diving into both matches from a betting perspective. The women's final between Petra Kvitova and Elena Rybakina is on Saturday, April 1st, while Jannik Sinner and Daniil Medvedev will clash in the men's final on Sunday, April 2nd. Keep reading to find out how we'd suggest playing both of these matches!

Women's Final: Petra Kvitova vs. Elena Rybakina

We gave away Rybakina as a +700 play to win this tournament, so we don’t have an official bet on this. If anything, we’d suggest that anybody that took the Kazakhstani to win this event hedges a bit with Kvitova as a +215 underdog.

If you’re just looking for an individual bet on this one, we’d lean with playing Rybakina on the game spread. While the 23-year-old had a full day off on Friday, rain delays forced Kvitova to play on both Thursday and Friday. The 33-year-old should be a little fatigued here, especially after having given everything she had to win the last two matches.

For as good as Kvitova is with her serve, Rybakina is even better. And Rybakina’s fresh legs should make a difference here — as will her slight edge in power, which will go a long way on these faster courts.

Lean: Rybakina -3.5 Games (-125)

Men's Final: Jannik Sinner vs. Daniil Medvedev

Sinner is coming off a tremendous three-set win over Carlos Alcaraz in the semifinals, which means the Italian got to avenge his loss to the Spaniard at Indian Wells. Now, Sinner will look to avenge a February loss in Rotterdam to Medvedev. And overall, it’s a little hard not to like the Italian to get the job done.

For starters, Sinner probably feels like he should have won that match in Rotterdam. He took the first set, 7-5, and then lost a bit of steam from there. But these conditions suit Sinner a little better. Medvedev isn’t a player that likes playing in humidity, and he’s already about to play his fifth final in a row. That makes it easy to envision a scenario in which fatigue gets to the Russian.

Sinner was also firing on all cylinders against Alcaraz, and he’ll now look to bring that same level to this match. The 21-year-old is looking to win his first Masters 1000 title, so the motivation will be there. And Sinner also has a nice connection with these Miami crowds, so the fans will likely be behind him.

Bet: Sinner ML (+105)
