After the defense got off to a bad start to begin the season, the North Carolina Tar Heels go on the road to face Georgia Tech having allowed an average of 52 points in their last two games.

North Carolina Tar Heels (-3.5, 150) at Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

(stats as of Saturday morning)

The Tar Heels are 11th in the country in 3-point shooting percentage while Georgia Tech is 17th, but Georgia Tech has utilized the outside less frequently, with just 30.1 percent of their shots being 3-pointers, which is 318th in the country.

The free throw line has been unkind to Georgia Tech, as only one of their top four scorers are shooting above 60 percent at the free throw line. Collectively, the Yellow Jackets are making just 66.4 percent of their free throws, which ranks 272nd among Division I teams.

Second chances will be hard to come by for the Yellow Jackets, with North Carolina allowing opponent to rebound 18.7 percent of their missed shots, which is 14th nationally.

With five different players registering at least 11 points per game for North Carolina, they will get a big road win in Georgia on Sunday with a balanced attack.

Pick: North Carolina -3.5
