The Kentucky Wildcats have gotten things rolling with three straight double-digit wins entering their showdown with Texas A&M in College Station on Wednesday.

Kentucky Wildcats (-7.5, 144) vs. Texas A&M Aggies

The Wildcats lead the country in rebound rate and have the country’s leader in rebounds per game in Oscar Tshiebwe, who is pulling down 14.9 rebounds per game.

Both teams have been two of the better units in the country on defense, with Kentucky 13th in points allowed on a per-possession basis and Texas A&M ranked 26th in this category.

Turnovers have played a big role in Texas A&M’s current eight-game win streak, as they are eighth among Division I teams in turnovers forced on a per-possession basis with one generated on 24.8 percent of possessions.

With Kentucky opponents getting a rebound on 16.1 percent of their missed shots in the Wildcats’ road games, and Kentucky having held 14 of their last 16 opponents to fewer than 70 points, the only thing that won’t be bigger in Texas on Wednesday is the amount of points in this game.

Pick: Under 144

A Numbers Game: Always compare odds with games behind, remaining schedule, and strength of schedule. i.e. Braves at +300 offer value just 1 game behind the Mets.

The Lombardi Line: It may be a good time to buy low on NFL teams that have the talent, but haven't executed in the first three weeks.
