Former NBA guard Speedy Claxton is in his first year as the head coach of the Hofstra Pride. He will look to make the school’s alumni proud on Saturday as the team goes to Little Rock to face Arkansas.

Hofstra Pride vs. Arkansas Razorbacks (-10.5, 156)

(stats as of Friday morning)

Arkansas has done a good job of holding opponents to just one opportunity per possession on offense to score, allowing an offensive rebound on just 16.7 percent of missed shots, which ranks fifth in the country.

The Pride will look to win from the outside, as Hofstra is getting 40.7 percent of their points from made 3-pointers, which ranks 27th in the country, while the Razorbacks are 314th in the country in 3-point shooting percentage at 28.6 percent.

The Arkansas defense is allowing opponents to make 37.3 percent of their 3-pointers and 42 percent of the points the Razorbacks allow are from made 3-pointers, the sixth-highest rate among Division I schools.

Hofstra has also done a good job of taking care of the ball, committing a turnover on just 14.4 percent of their possessions, which is 15th in the country, and it will give them a chance to take down Arkansas on Saturday.

Pick: Hofstra + 10.5
