The Davidson Wildcats have won 12 straight games and will put their streak on the line against Richmond on Friday in a battle of two efficient offenses.

Davidson Wildcats vs. Richmond Spiders (-1, 143)

(stats as of Thursday morning)

The Spiders are 12th in the country in fewest turnovers on a per-possession basis, while Davidson is 13th, but Richmond has Jacob Gilyard, who is the Division I NCAA record holder in career steals and has 3.5 steals per game to lead the country.

The Wildcats are making 41.4 percent of their 3s, which ranks second in the country, but also have issues guarding the arc, allowing opponents to shoot 34.9 percent from the outside, which is 252nd in the country.

Second chances are also hard to come by, as Davidson is getting a rebound on just 20.3 percent of their missed shots, which is 326th in the country, and is 296th in free throw attempts per field goal attempts.

With 42.9 percent of the points Davidson is allowing on the road coming from made 3-pointers, which is the sixth-highest rate in the country, and Richmond taking 48 percent of their shots at home from 3-point range, Richmond will win from the outside.

Pick: Richmond -1
