Today’s Best NHL Bets
Nashville Predators (Moneyline) +175
Nashville is currently five points back of Minnesota, who holds the final wild card spot in the Western Conference. However, the Predators have two games in hand on the Wild, so they can make up a little more ground with a win on Sunday. Of course, they are a sizable underdog after having played on Saturday, but it helps that they played their backup goaltender (Kevin Lankinen) on Saturday, because that means starter Juuse Saros is fresh.
Nashville might still be without Filip Forsberg (questionable) but the gap between these two teams isn’t very big. In fact, both teams grade out among the bottom-five on offense over the past month. Minnesota will likely win the game, but at +175, the Predators are a value bet with Saros in goal. The 27-year-old ranks second in goals saved above expected according to Evolving Hockey.
