Today’s Best NHL Bets
Here are today’s best NHL bets:
Buffalo Sabres (Moneyline) +155
Marc-Andre Fleury is confirmed to start for the Wild, and although the veteran goaltender has been playing good hockey since allowing six goals against the Sabres in Buffalo back on Jan. 7th, Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen has been just as good, if not better, winning 10 of his last 12 starts for Buffalo. The Sabres have not announced their starting goaltender yet, but there’s not a lot separating these two teams.
Minnesota is better defensively, but not by much, and it’s mostly been driven by the play of goaltender Filip Gustavsson, not Marc-Andre Fleury. Over the last month, Buffalo and Minnesota rank 14th and 15th, respectively, in expected goals percentage. However, the Sabres rank sixth in shot attempt percentage and ninth in goals per 60 minutes, while the Wild rank 20th and 19th in those categories. Buffalo is a value bet at +155 or better.
Update: Unfortunately, it now looks like Dylan Cozens will not be in the Sabres' lineup on Saturday. Cozens ranks fifth on the team in scoring with 43 points in 48 games.
Record: Wins: 56Losses: 64Units Won: -13.57ROI: -10.2 percent
