Today’s Starting Goaltenders

- Islanders – Ilya Sorokin is expected to be in goal for the Islanders.
- Toronto – Ilya Samsonov is projected to start. He last played on Jan. 16th.
- Florida – With Sergei Bobrovsky injured, Alex Lyon has been confirmed to start for the Panthers. The Panthers play in Pittsburgh on Tuesday.
- Rangers – Igor Shesterkin and the Rangers have had three days off.
- Buffalo – It’s unclear who will start in goal for the Sabres. Buffalo will travel to St. Louis for a game Tuesday. For now, I’m projecting Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen to start, but Craig Anderson is probably just as a likely to get the nod.
- Dallas – I wonder if Scott Wedgewood will get another start before the All-Star break, but for now, Jake Oettinger is projected is expected to get the start.
- Columbus – Joonas Korpisalo was great in Saturday’s win over the Sharks.
- Calgary – The Flames really want to beat Johnny Gaudreau and the Columbus Blue Jackets. Jacob Markstrom hasn’t won since Jan. 6th
