NHL Player Prop Bets for Saturday Jan. 14th
The Kraken have a great record away from home (15-4-2) and first time All Star, Matty Beniers, is a big reason why. It’s not easy to go into another team’s building as a young player and light it up, but Beniers has done just that, scoring more points (per 60) on the road than all but nine players, and his linemates aren’t far behind, either. Seattle’s top line has been on fire as of late, and they’ll have plenty of opportunities to create offense on Saturday.
Best NHL Player Prop Bets
- Matty Beniers Over 0.5 Points (-135)
- Jordan Eberle Over 0.5 Points (-115)
- Andre Burakovsky Over 0.5 Points (-120)
The big story heading into this game is that the Blackhawks have won three games in a row without Patrick Kane, and he’s expected to be back in the lineup on Saturday. However, after having the luxury of playing three teams that don’t score many goals, Chicago must face off against the hottest offense in the league.
Chicago ranks 26th in shot attempts against and goals against over the last month, and the team has not fared well against good offensive teams. The Blackhawks are 1-10 against teams that rank among the top-10 on offense, and they’ve allowed 4.6 goals on average in those games.
Seattle comes into this game having scored at least four goals in six of their last seven games. The Kraken have scored goals at a higher rate than any other team over the last month, thanks to the play of their top line, which has scored goals at a rate of about 5.5 per 60 over their last 15 games.
Matty Beniers, Jordan Eberle and Andre Burakovsky didn’t register a point in Seattle’s 3-0 shutout win over the Bruins on Thursday, but in their last six games, they’ve each been scoring at a point-per-game pace or better and all three players are good bets to add to their totals on Saturday.
