There's no question that former Indianapolis Colts All-Pro center Jeff Saturday was a great player, but, can his time on the field, which includes a Super Bowl championship with the Colts in 2006, translate to success as a head coach? Most, including VSiN's Michael Lombardi are skeptical.

Jeff Saturday's Coaching Experience

Despite Saturday's success during his playing days, Lombardi, a former NFL General Manager and current VSiN NFL analyst, explained that the skill set of a player is very different than that of a head coach.

Saturday, a football analyst for ESPN has no coaching experience beyond working the sideline for his son's high school team in Georgia.
