Week 18 has all 16 games scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 7; however, the NFL has said it will move two games to Saturday (at 4:30 p.m. ET ad 8:15 p.m. ET) after the conclusion of Week 17. Remember that a lot of these kickoff times will also get changed so teams fighting for division titles or wild-card spots will be playing at the same time, including one game moved to Sunday night at 8:20 p.m. ET for the traditional season-finale. In addition, oddsmakers often adjust Week 18 lines drastically in regards to teams fighting for playoff spots or resting starters, etc. As for the current Sunday’s early games (1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT kickoffs), there are a lot of potentially compelling matchups with all divisional matchups to wrap up the regular season: Dolphins -1.5 vs. the Bills, Chiefs -2 at the Chargers, Lions -2.5 vs. the Vikings, Jets -1 at the Patriots, Packers -2 vs. the Bears and Bengals -4 vs. the Browns. The only “afternoon game" (kickoff in the 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT hour) on the original schedule is the 49ers -6 vs. the Rams. Again, the Week 18 schedule will look a whole lot different when we get there.
