Lombardi discusses NFL Thanksgiving Games for Week 12 on Follow The Money

Who better to break down a trio of Turkey Day games than Follow the Money hosts Mitch Moss and Pauly Howard with Lombardi Line host Michael Lombardi? The guys got together for a fine Monday morning segment to talk about the things that transpired in Week 11 and the carryover for Week 12, especially for the six teams that are on a short week and will play on Thanksgiving.

Buffalo Bills (-9, 54) at Detroit Lions

The Lions have won three in a row and the Bills are coming off of a weird scenario having their game moved from Buffalo to Detroit, where they beat the Cleveland Browns 31-23, but now to have to turn around on a quick week and head right back to the Motor City in a big favorite role.

Top NFL Resources:

Lombardi: “There’s something off with Buffalo right now.”

Mitch even thinks the Lions have an outside chance at winning the NFC North!

New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys (-8.5, 44.5)

Two teams that had very different performances last week will get together for Thursday’s only divisional game. The Giants got pushed around by the Lions in a 31-18 loss, whereas the Cowboys scored 37 unanswered points in a 40-3 win over the Minnesota Vikings.

Lombardi: “The Giants have to play a certain way and their depth has been depleted.”

New England Patriots at Minnesota Vikings (-3, 41.5)

The Vikings have to lick their wounds quickly before taking on a Patriots crew that won in improbable fashion last week with a punt return touchdown in the final minute of a 10-3 win against the New York Jets. Will Bill Belichick succeed in taking Justin Jefferson away? Have the Vikings been exposed?

Lombardi: “Without (Christian) Darrishaw at left tackle, this is gonna be a problem, especially [because] we know that when (Kirk) Cousins doesn’t feel protected, that’s a problem.”
