Buccaneers 2023 schedule isn’t easy in first year without Tom Brady

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers no longer have Tom Brady at quarterback. Instead, they’re going from the greatest quarterback of all time to Baker Mayfield, who earned himself another crack at a starting gig with a decent stint with the Los Angeles Rams last year. The Buccaneers did, however, have some serious issues last season, and it won’t look much better without Brady in the fold. Tampa Bay also happens to have a pretty tough schedule, so that only complicates things.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers schedule this year

The Buccaneers have the toughest schedule of any of the teams in the NFC South. They do have some favorable matchups at home, but they also host the Lions, Jaguars and Eagles. All three of those games will be tough for Tampa Bay. Todd Bowles’ team then has to play a bunch of difficult road games, with the Vikings, 49ers and Bills being three of the tough ones. For a team that is starting Mayfield at quarterback, this isn’t exactly inspiring.
