49ers have Super Bowl aspirations despite rough 2023 schedule

It’s not yet clear who will be playing quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers this season, but it probably doesn’t matter. Whether it’s Sam Darnold, Brock Purdy or Trey Lance, San Francisco has elite talent around the man under center and this is likely the best team in the NFC, on paper. The 49ers do have a pretty difficult schedule this season, but that’s not going to phase this team much. San Francisco is loaded on both sides of the ball and should once again be a Super Bowl contender.

San Francisco 49ers schedule this year

The 49ers have plenty of games on national television this year, but one of the ones everybody will be looking forward to is the Week 5 meeting with the Cowboys. That’s one of the most classic rivalries in the sport, so it’s one that’s perfectly suited for primetime. As far as the rest of the schedule goes, San Francisco doesn’t exactly have the easiest set of games. The 49ers’ schedule is loaded with teams that have realistic playoff aspirations, but a team as talented as San Francisco won’t worry about that too much. Even with a little uncertainty at quarterback, you’d expect this group to figure it out. However, the team does have a few short rest spots this year.
