Steelers 2023 schedule may help team back to the playoffs

You may have heard it mentioned that the Pittsburgh Steelers have never had a losing season under head coach Mike Tomlin. That incredible factoid was in serious jeopardy last season, but the Steelers played the Browns in Week 18 and won to finish 9-8. Of course, the streak-saving win would come against a rival that the Steelers have bested so many times before. Tomlin has a better roster and a more experienced quarterback this season and that could be enough to get the Terrible Towels waving in the playoffs once again.

Pittsburgh Steelers schedule this year

The early bye week could absolutely be a detriment, along with five road games over the final eight weeks of the season. The Steelers draw the six games against AFC North foes, while also playing the AFC South and the NFC West. Their third-place schedule also put the Raiders, Packers, and Patriots on the slate. The Steelers do have two long trips out west and both come on the front end of a back-to-back, so that could be a bit tricky, particularly in Week 18 if they need a win to keep Tomlin’s streak alive.
