Giants 2023 schedule presents some early problems

The New York Giants are looking to build off a season in which they surprised a lot of folks by making it to the postseason. The Giants made the most of an easy early-season schedule last year, but things might not be as easy in 2023. However, New York did make some key moves in the offseason, so the Giants are confident they can show that last year was just the beginning. Let’s dive into the schedule and see if they’re looking at another nice season.

New York Giants schedule this year

The Giants have made improvements to their roster, yet their Vegas regular season win total is down at 8.5. That’s because of New York’s difficult 2023 schedule. Outside of needing to play some feisty NFC East opponents, the Giants have to go on the road to face the 49ers, Bills, Dolphins, Saints and Raiders. All of those games will be tough for New York to win. The Giants also play some tough opponents at home, with the Jets, Seahawks and Patriots all being threats to go into MetLife Stadium and win. New York also happens to have a gauntlet to start the season. The Giants play seven of their first 11 games on the road. How they perform in that 11-game stretch will make or break their season.
