Saints 2023 schedule could make room for return to glory in NFC South

The New Orleans Saints are coming off a season in which they went 7-10, but they’ll be hoping to go out and reclaim their spot atop the NFC South this year. The Saints paid big money to bring Derek Carr in during the offseason, and they’re hoping that he can fill the gaping quarterback hole provided by Drew Brees’ retirement. New Orleans also added some talent elsewhere, and the roster wasn’t bad to begin with. When you combine that with the schedule release revealing a very easy schedule, the Saints just might be back.

New Orleans Saints schedule this year

Six of the eight teams the Saints will play at home this season had losing records a year ago. New Orleans also had road games against eight teams that had losing records last season. Overall, this is pretty easily the most favorable schedule in football this season. So, if the Carr signing ends up working out, the Saints just might be looking at a complete turnaround.
