Cardinals 2023 schedule will be challenging for retooling team

The Arizona Cardinals were unable to live up to expectations last season, and that resulted in the team parting ways with Kliff Kingsbury to bring in former Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon. Arizona still has a decent amount of talent in place, but this team is far from perfect. And the health of Kyler Murray is going to be a question mark heading into the season, which isn’t a good thing. The Cardinals have a pretty difficult 2023 schedule, so things might not get better in the near future.

Arizona Cardinals schedule this year

Six of the eight home games Arizona plays this season will be against playoff teams from last season. That’s going to be tough for the Cardinals to navigate, especially if Murray isn’t at 100% after tearing his ACL last season. Arizona also happens to have a couple of very tough road opponents, making this one of the more difficult schedules in football. On top of that, the Cardinals have lost quite a bit of talent and just look like they’re heading towards a down season.
