Here are our favorite NBA prop bets for Thursday, May 25:

Miami Heat at Boston Celtics (-8, 215) - Game 5

Gabe Vincent will miss Game 5 with a sprained left ankle, so Kyle Lowry will likely flirt with 35 minutes in this game. Erik Spoelstra already said that he trusts Lowry to play extended minutes in Vincent’s absence, and that presents a serious opportunity for player prop bettors.

Lowry is already averaging 7.7 potential assists per game in the postseason, and he is doing that in only 25.4 minutes per game. So, he’s setting his teammates up with good looks, and he’s doing so in somewhat limited action. But with an increase in minutes — and more time spent with Miami’s first unit — Lowry will likely do an even better job of setting the table for the Heat’s scorers.

Lowry also happens to be a little banged up himself, so that’ll make it hard on him to create offense for himself. With that said, he’ll likely be looking to pass even more than usual here. And Lowry had six assists in the 28 minutes he played in Game 4, so he has already proven that he is easily capable of hitting this number. With more minutes, it should be rather simple. Miami’s shooters will just need to knock down some shots, and those guys have been doing so all series long.

It also doesn’t hurt having Jimmy Butler on his team. Butler has faced little resistance when putting his head down and attacking the rim, so if Lowry finds him on the move then it’s likely going to turn into an assist.
