Here are our favorite NBA prop bets for Monday, May 29:

Miami Heat at Boston Celtics (-7.5, 203.5) – Game 7

Jimmy Butler shot 5 for 21 from the floor in Game 6, and the superstar looked extremely passive down the stretch. This is normally a player that can be relied on to go all out when the game is on the line, but he didn’t quite look like himself. With that said, it’s likely that the 33-year-old is dealing with some type of minor injury.

If Butler doesn’t look like the guy that scored 27 or more points in three of the first four games of this series, somebody on this Miami team is going to need to rise to the occasion in this do-or-die Game 7. And the most likely candidate is Caleb Martin. The 27-year-old is already averaging 18.2 points per game in this series, and he just delivered a 21-point, 15-rebound performance in Game 6.

Martin has also played at least 35 minutes in three of the last four games, so Erik Spoelstra is putting more and more trust in the wing. So, with Martin’s minutes not being a question mark in any regard, it’s difficult to envision him having a hard time scoring at least 16 points in this game. Martin is going to be aggressive in looking for his shot in this one, and he’s always a threat to bury a couple of triples. In fact, Martin has made at least two 3s in all six of the games these two have played. He has also hit at least three in four of the games. When you’re hitting like that, these point totals can hit a lot quicker than expected.

Overall, the Heat are going to need offense to come from somewhere in this one. They can’t afford to just put everything on Butler. And Martin is one of the only other players on this team that can create his own shot.

Bet: Martin Over 15.5 Points (-115)
