Here are our favorite NBA prop bets for Wednesday, March 29 (odds provided by DraftKings Sportsbook):

Houston Rockets at Brooklyn Nets (-10.5, 229)

While Tari Eason hasn’t exactly played consistent minutes this season, he has seen a serious uptick in playing time recently. Eason is averaging 27.0 minutes per game since the start of March, and he has responded by averaging 11.5 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game. That middle number is the one that matters most to us, as we’re playing the over on Eason’s 6.5-rebound total tonight.

Eason comes into this game after having had some big games as a rebounder in the last week, as the rookie has had at least eight rebounds in four of his last five games. One of those contests saw Eason grabbing 12 boards in a loss to the Golden State Warriors. This is a guy that has a lot of energy, and that’s what you want when betting on a rebound total.

This is also a very good matchup for Eason to go out and handle his business. Brooklyn is tied for last in the league in rebound percentage this season, so this isn’t a team that cleans the glass at a very high level.

Bet: Eason Over 6.5 Rebounds (-135)

Los Angeles Lakers (-2, 227.5) at Chicago Bulls

DeMar DeRozan had 10 assists when the Bulls earned a 118-108 win over the Lakers on Sunday. The 33-year-old then followed it up with a seven-assist game against the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday. DeRozan is now averaging 5.5 assists per game in March, and he has had six games with at least six assists in his last 12 games.

DeRozan is doing a nice job as a playmaker for a Chicago team that lacks a true point guard, and we’re now backing him to go over 5.5 assists against the Lakers for the second time in three days. According to our Daily Prop Analyzer, DeRozan has gone over his assist total in 40 of the 68 games he has played this season — with one of those games seeing him push the number. This has just been a reliable bet all season.

With this being a game with a lot at stake for both teams, it’s hard to see DeRozan not showing up. And the best way for him to do that is by making the right play, not forcing the issue as a scorer.

Bet: DeRozan Over 5.5 Assists (+120)

Minnesota Timberwolves at Phoenix Suns (-5.5, 235.5)

In the three games that Kevin Durant played for the Phoenix Suns before going down with an ankle injury, Devin Booker averaged 36.0 points per game and shot at least 50.0% from the floor. Durant is one of the best scorers in the history of the game, and he’s going to get his own for Phoenix — he had 37 in a win over the Dallas Mavericks in his third game with the team. But he’s also a tremendous decoy for Booker.

Booker is used to seeing double teams against pretty much every opponent, but that’s not an option for defenses when Durant is on the floor. That means that Booker now gets opportunities to go to work in isolation situations, where defenders just have no chance of shutting down his complete game. Booker is a three-level scorer and there aren’t many guys in the league that can bother him on an island.

With Durant returning to action tonight, it just seems like a great idea to back Booker to score at least 28 points. Not only will Booker see cleaner looks at the rim, but Durant will also be on a minute restriction. That means Phoenix will be relying a bit more on Booker here, and it doesn’t hurt that Minnesota isn’t the best defensive team in the world.

Bet: Booker Over 27.5 Points (-125)
