I left Las Vegas on Tuesday for vacation in Hawaii, and underdogs stayed just as hot as the weather in both places in the NBA and NHL playoffs with outright upsets by the Celtics and Golden Knights, respectively, plus dogs going 9-6 in MLB.
Let’s get to the specific details with our nightly betting recaps, and then update the spread and total records in each sport.

NBA: Celtics beat Heat 116-99 to avoid elimination and pulled within 3-1 in Eastern Conference Finals. The ViewFromHawaii is they were 1.5-point home underdogs (stayed just Under betting total of 216.5 points). Road/dog/Under went 1-0 on the night. The "zig-zag" (aka "loser of the last") went 1-0 ATS with Celtics losing the previous game.

More NBA: Dogs improved to 5-2 SU this round and a perfect 7-0 ATS, though faves still lead 49-25 SU and 40-33-1 ATS (54.8%) overall in the playoffs with 1 game closing pick-’em. NHL: Golden Knights shut out Stars 4-0 to take commanding 3-0 lead in Western Conference Finals. The ViewFromHawaii is the Golden Knights did it as +135 road underdogs (stayed Under 5.5 goals). Road/dog/Under went 1-0 on night. The "zig-zag" (aka "loser of the last") went 0-1 as Stars lost the previous game. 

More NHL: Dogs retook 3-2 lead in conference final round with 1 PK, plus improved to 41-35 overall in the playoffs with 3 PKs. Home/road teams back to .500 at 3-3 in this round, but road teams improved to 44-35 overall. Unders improved to 5-1 this round, so Over/Unders are back down to .500 at 39-39-1 overall. The zig-zag is off to 0-4 start in this round (with Stars and Hurricanes both failing to win Games 2 and 3 after dropping series openers), but still leads 37-28 overall.

MLB: Dogs went 9-6 Tuesday with biggest upsets by the Dodgers (+170 at Braves), Royals (+137 vs. Tigers), Diamondbacks (+137 at Phillies) and Giants (+134 at Twins). Road teams went 8-7. Unders led 9-6. Faves lead 421-300 on the season with 8 PKs. Home teams lead 388-339 with 2 neutral-site games. Overs lead 354-346-28 with 1 no-action.
