Favorites dominated for the second day in a row as chalk went 10-3 on Wednesday’s MLB card and the Nuggets won and covered Game 3 of the NBA Finals as road favorites.

NBA: Nuggets beat Heat 109-94 to take 2-1 lead in NBA Finals. The ViewFromVegas is the Nuggets also covered after closing as 3.5-point road favorites (game stayed Under betting total of 213 points). Road/fave/Under went 1-0 on the night, as did the “zig-zag” (aka “loser of the last”) as the Nuggets lost the previous game.

More NBA: Faves are 2-1 SU & ATS so far in this series and lead 53-28 SU and 43-37-1 ATS (53.8%) overall with 1 game closing pick-’em. Road teams lead 2-1 SU and ATS in the series, but home teams still lead 49-33 SU and 44-37-1 ATS (54.3%). Unders take 2-1 lead in this series and Over/Unders are now tied again at 40-40-2 overall. The zig-zag has started 2-0 ATS in this series and improved to 37-29-1 ATS (56.1%).

MLB: Favorites went 10-3 on Wednesday with upsets by the A’s (+159 in 9-5 win at Pirates), Reds (+139 in 9-6 win vs. Dodgers) and Cardinals (+121 in 1-0 win at Rangers). Home teams went 9-4. Unders led 8-5. On the season, faves lead 534-379 with 14 games closing pick-’em. Home teams improved to 493-432 with 2 neutral-site games. Unders improved slim lead to 450-443-33 with 1 no-action

NHL (ICYMI): With the Golden Knights routing the Panthers 7-2 as -135 home favorties on Monday night to take a 2-0 lead in the Stanley Cup Finals, faves/home teams/Overs are all off to 2-0 starts in this round. Underdogs dipped to 43-38 overall in the playoffs with 4 games closing pick-’em. Road teams also dipped to 46-39 overall. Over improved slim lead to 43-41-1. The “zig-zag” started 0-1 this round but still 39-31 overall.
