Editor's Note: In anticipation of his upcoming coverage of the Breeders’ Cup World Championships (Friday and Saturday, Nov. 4 and 5, at Keeneland), regular "Team Tuley's Thoroughbred Takes" contributor and VSiN.com handicapper Ed Sehon (aka Mr. Ed) will share his Play of the Day throughout the regular Keeneland fall meeting.

Mr. Ed’s Keeneland Play of the Day (10/7)

Race 10 (5:48 p.m. ET/2:48 p.m. PT). Opening day finale, a 1 1/2-mile turf marathon, has drawn a full field of 12 fillies and mares. I like #8 Fairchild (5-2 morning line) for the powerful duo of top trainer Steve Asmussen and outstanding grass pilot Joel Rosario. This 4-year-old daughter of Speightstown scored her maiden victory over the sod here and should be well-positioned for a winning effort in the lane. Wager: Win.

PRO TIPS & PICKS

A Numbers Game: Be careful betting baseball games right now, if they don’t involve teams still trying to make the playoffs. Teams that have clinched or teams that are completely out of it will be approaching games far differently. View more tips.
