Note: In preparation for his upcoming trip to Lexington, KY, to report on the 2022 Breeders’ Cup (Friday-Saturday, Nov. 4 and 5, at Keeneland), VSiN handicapper Ed Sehon (aka Mr. Ed) has been sharing his Play of the Day throughout the regular Keeneland fall meeting. As for yesterday, his selection #5 Dolce Zel (5-2 morning line) was scratched out of Race 7. Sehon returns to VSiN.com/horses next Friday when he’ll offer his top three selections in the first 5 of 14 BC races.
Mr. Ed’s Keeneland Play of the Day (10/29)
Race 3 (2:04 p.m. ET/11:04 a.m. PT)
My pick is #5 Mariah’s Princess (7-2 morning line). This 4-year-old expensive daughter of legendary Ghostzapper returns to the races after an extended break, following an impressive stakes victory at Oaklawn Park last December. Trained by under-the-radar conditioner Philip Bauer, filly is ridden by journeyman jockey Martin Garcia. Solid series of works indicates she’s ready to return to winner’s circle. Crown this princess.
