Note: In preparation for his trip next week to Lexington, KY, to report on the 2022 Breeders’ Cup World Championships (Friday-Saturday, Nov. 4-5, at Keeneland), VSiN handicapper Ed Sehon (aka Mr. Ed) is sharing his Play of the Day throughout the regular Keeneland fall meeting.

Mr. Ed’s Keeneland Play of the Day (10/26)

Race 5 (3:08 p.m. ET/12:08 p.m. PT).

My pick is #2 Running Bee (3-1 morning line). Sophomore son of English Channel in way over his head in Kentucky Downs stakes last month, when he finished far back over quirky sod surface. Since then he has posted steady work tab. Well-traveled 3-year-old cuts back to 1 1/8 miles and picks up the services of top pilot Tyler Gaffalione for Chad Brown barn and Calumet Farm. Pick will be running in stretch.
