Note: In anticipation of his upcoming comprehensive coverage of the Breeders’ Cup World Championship (Friday-Saturday, Nov. 4 and 5, at Keeneland), regular Team Tuley's Thoroughbred Takes member and VSiN handicapper Ed Sehon (aka Mr. Ed) will share his Play of the Day throughout the regular Keeneland fall meeting. After an 0-for-4 start, he's 2-0 with a scratch the last 3 days after hitting with Gina Romantica ($11.06) in Race 9 on Saturday.

Mr. Ed’s Keeneland Play of the Day (10/16)

Race 7 (4:12 p.m. ET/1:12 p.m. PT)

I like #10 Change of Control (5-1 morning line). In an effort to boost career earnings over the magical $1 million mark, under-appreciated trainer Michelle Lovell returns 6-year-old mare to turf in Grade 3, $300,000 Franklin Stakes turf sprint. Gal is proven horse-for-course and has won 10 of 39 starts lifetime. Pitch last at Presque Isle Downs. Colby Hernandez retains mount.

PRO TIPS & PICKS

A Numbers Game: Be careful betting baseball games right now, if they don’t involve teams still trying to make the playoffs. Teams that have clinched or teams that are completely out of it will be approaching games far differently. View more tips.
