Here are our favorite MLB prop bets for Wednesday, April 26:

Texas Rangers (-120, 8.5) at Cincinnati Reds

Wil Myers is batting just .222 with two homers and nine RBIs this season, so betting on him right now comes with more risk than betting on anybody else. But we like this matchup for the 32-year-old slugger, as he’ll get a crack at Jon Gray.

Myers has crushed Gray in their head-to-head history, as he is 14 for 42 with four doubles, three homers and seven RBIs against him. Myers should be comfortable when he gets up at the plate in this one, and it’s only a bonus that Gray hasn’t been great to start this season. The righty comes into this game after having given up at least six hits in two of his last three starts.

Look for Myers to get at least one hit here and feel free to let it rip on his total bases and home run props at longer odds. Both are solid plays as dart throws, as he could do some damage if he ultimately does get his hits. We’re just opting to play it a little safer here.

Bet: Myers Over 0.5 Hits (-125)

Detroit Tigers at Milwaukee Brewers (-225, 8)

The Tigers have been one of the worst offensive teams in baseball this season. Detroit has the third-highest strikeout rate in the league this year, and the team is also dead last when it comes to hits and runs scored. With that in mind, the matchup doesn’t get much better for Freddy Peralta.

Peralta has had two games in which he has struck out at least seven batters this season, which is all we need from him tonight. Of course, the righty does come into this one after having struggled in back-to-back starts. But that really doesn’t matter all that much. Peralta is a guy that misses a lot of bats, and he now faces a team that struggles to make contact. There’s a reason this play is juicy, and it’s worth putting some money on.

Bet: Peralta Over 6.5 Strikeouts (-155)

Oakland Athletics at Los Angeles Angels (-240, 9.5)

Luis Medina has a 3.86 ERA in 9.1 innings with the Las Vegas Aviators this season, but this will be his first MLB appearance. The righty appears to be somebody that the Athletics are high on, and he’s the 18th-ranked prospect in Oakland’s system right now. However, there will very likely be a lot of nerves on his end, and it’s hard not to attack some Angels player props against a guy making his first professional start.

When looking through Los Angeles’ lineup, one bet that stands out is that you can get Shohei Ohtani to reach two total bases at plus-money odds here. Ohtani absolutely crushed right-handed pitching last season, and he should be looking forward to this matchup. As a pitcher, Ohtani likely knows exactly what will be going through the mind of Medina. That should allow the 28-year-old superstar to jump on a pitch and make him pay.

Bet: Ohtani Over 1.5 Total Bases (+120)
