In the meantime, let's examine where smart money is leaning for Wednesday's MLB slate...

6:40 p.m. ET: Toronto Blue Jays at Tampa Bay Rays (-190, 8)

This is the third game of a four-game series. The Rays (35-15) won the opener 6-4, cashing as +100 home dogs. Then the Jays (26-23) bounced back with a big 20-1 win on Tuesday, taking care of business as -105 road dogs. In tonight's rematch, Toronto hands the ball to lefty Yusei Kikuchi (5-1, 4.08 ERA) while Tampa Bay counters with fellow southpaw Shane McClanahan (7-0, 2.05 ERA). This line opened with the Rays listed as a -175 home favorite and the Jays a +160 road dog. Sharps like Tampa Bay to get back on track with their ace on the mound, steaming the Rays up from -175 to -190. Currently 76% of bets and 81% of money are backing the Rays, signaling a heavy combination of both Pro and Joe support. The Rays are 31-12 as a favorite, 7-2 against lefties and 22-5 at home. Tampa Bay also has correlative betting value as a favorite in a low total game, as the fewer amount of expected runs scored are more likely to come from the better team. Pros are also leaning over, as the total is 8 with the over juiced to -115 or -120, signaling a possible rise up to 8.5. Currently 76% of bets and 90% of money is on the over, a sharp "low bets, higher dollars" bet discrepancy. Tampa Bay is 10-2 to the over in their last 12 games.

7:05 p.m. ET: San Diego Padres (-150, 9.5) at Washington Nationals

The Padres (22-26) took last night's series opener 7-4, cashing as -155 road favorites. In tonight's rematch, San Diego starts lefty Ryan Weathers (1-2, 3.42 ERA) and Washington (20-28) taps righty Trevor Williams (1-2, 4.26 ERA). This line opened with the Padres listed as a -135 road favorite and the Nats a +120 home dog. Pros are running it back with the Padres, steaming San Diego up from -135 to -150. Road favorites who made the playoffs the previous season playing an opponent who did not are 84-52 (62%) this season. Non-division road favorites off a win are 63-34 (65%). Washington is 18-28 as a dog, 7-10 against lefties and 10-16 at home. Sharps are also leaning under, as the total is 9.5 with the under juiced to -115, signaling a possible dip down to 9. The Padres are 31-13 to the under, the best under team in MLB. San Diego is 15-3 to the under their last 18 games.
