Meanwhile, the Mets (27-27) just dropped two of three at the Rockies, losing 11-10 on Sunday as -140 road favorites. In tonight’s series opener, Philadelphia starts lefty Ranger Suarez (0-1, 9.82 ERA) and New York goes with righty Kodai Senga (4-2, 3.94 ERA). This line opened with the Mets listed as a -130 home favorite and the Phillies a +120 road dog. Pros have sided with New York at home, steaming the Mets up from -130 to -140. New York is receiving 59% of bets and 65% of money, signaling modest public support but also respected sharp action. The Mets are 21-18 as a favorite and 12-9 at home. The Phillies are 7-12 as a dog and 11-18 on the road. We could also be looking at a higher scoring game, as the total is 8.5 with the over juiced to -120, signaling a possible rise up to 9.
