6:35 p.m. ET: Arizona Diamondbacks (-175, 7.5) at Pittsburgh Pirates

The Diamondbacks (25-19) just took two of three at the Athletics, winning 5-3 on Wednesday as -150 road favorites. Similarly, the Pirates (23-20) just won two of three at the Tigers, winning 8-0 on Wednesday as +145 road dogs. In tonight's series opener, Arizona taps righty Zac Gallen (6-1, 2.35 ERA) and Pittsburgh sends out fellow righty Johan Oviedo (2-3, 5.14 ERA). This line opened with the Diamondbacks listed as a -160 road favorite and the Pirates a +145 home dog. Sharps have gotten down on Arizona, driving the Snakes up from -160 to -175. Arizona is receiving 69% of bets but 74% of money, indicating heavy Pro and Joe support. Non-division favorites off a win are 153-90 (63%) this season. When both teams had the day off, as is the case here, the favorite is 40-22 (65%). Arizona has the edge at the plate, hitting .270 compared to .242 for Pittsburgh. Arizona also have correlative betting value as a favorite in a low total game (7.5), as the fewer amount of expected runs scored are more likely to come form the better team. Pros have also leaned under, as the total is 7.5 with the under juiced to -120, signaling a possible dip down to 7.

9:38 p.m. ET: Minnesota Twins (-130, 8.5) at Los Angeles Angels

The Twins (24-20) just dropped two of three on the road at the Dodgers, losing 7-3 on Wednesday as +115 road dogs. Meanwhile, the Angels (23-22) just split a four game series at the Orioles, winning 6-5 on Thursday as +145 road dogs. In tonight's series opener, Minnesota turns to righty Joe Ryan (6-1, 2.16 ERA) and Los Angeles counters with lefty Reid Detmers (0-3, 4.89 ERA). This line opened with the Twins listed as a -120 road favorite and the Angels a +110 home dog. Pros have laid the short chalk with Minnesota, steaming the Twins up from -120 to -130. Minnesota is receiving 66% of bets and 74% of money, signaling a both public and sharp support. Non-division road favorites are 102-69 (60%) this season. The Twins also enjoy a rest advantage, having been off yesterday while the Angels played in Baltimore. Minnesota is 20-9 as a favorite this season. Ryan has a 1.00 ERA in three May starts.
