Tuesday Betting Recaps

Tuesday was what we should expect for the next few weeks in the dog days of summer as we had a full 15-game MLB schedule to dominate the sports betting menu, though there were 3 WNBA games.

Let’s get to the MLB details in our betting recaps that we post every night on Twitter @ViewFromVegas, and also the season-long betting stats, plus USFL with its championship game coming up on Saturday.

MLB: Faves went 8-7 on Tuesday with the biggest upsets by the Nationals (+200 in 704, 11-inning win at Mariners late night), Giants (+165 in 3-0 win at Blue Jays), Reds (+130 in 3-1 win at Orioles) and Pirates (+130 in 9-4 win vs. Padres). Home teams also went 8-7. Unders led 9-5-1 with the push in MIL-NYM (9).

More MLB: On the season, faves lead 684-485 with 19 games closing pick-’em. Home teams lead 624-560 with 4 neutral-site games. Unders improved their slim lead to 576-563-48 with 1 no-action.

USFL (ICYMI): Favorites/Overs are 2-0 so far in the playoffs. Including the regular season, underdogs still lead 22-20 SU overall and 27-15 ATS (64.3%). Unders still hold slim lead at 22-19-1 (53.7%).
