Friday Betting Recaps

Friday saw the return of the MLB regular season from the All-Star Break as favorites dominated at 10-3 with two games suspended/postponed.

Let’s get back to our nightly betting recaps, then update the season-long betting totals.

MLB: Favorites went 10-3 as the regular season resumed after the All-Star Break. The upsets were by the Rockies (+175 in 7-2 win vs. Yankees), Tigers (+160 in 5-4 win at Mariners) and Astros (+130 in 7-5 win at Angels). Road teams led 8-5. Over/Unders split 6-6-1 with the push in the Blue Jays’ 7-2 win vs. the Diamondbacks with a betting total of 9 runs.

More MLB: On the season, faves improve to 781-556 with 22 games closing pick-'em. Home teams lead 701-654 with 4 neutral-site games as road teams continue to cut into home teams’ lead. Unders still hold slim lead at 655-644-59 with 1 no-action.
