Woodbine 10th Race - Post Time 5:41 ET

#12 - Clayton (2-1 ML)

Canada's version of the Kentucky Derby, the $1 million Queen's Plate, should run through Clayton. He won the local prep (Plate Trial) by finishing fast over the final half of the race. The additional distance Saturday should play to his strength. His trainer Kevin Attard has an excellent record in Woodbine races at one mile and one-quarter, and also has #2 Merveilleux in this race to consider for the exacta (12-2).

Woodbine 11th Race - Post Time 6:30 ET

#4 Jeannie B (3-1 ML)

A fast-finishing runner-up on Aug. 15 on only 14 days' rest, this English export should benefit now from a bit more time between her races. She has one powerful move in her, regardless of the distances she has raced, so the shorter distance is not a concern. Hall of Fame trainer Mark Casse has her in the perfect spot for her first North American victory after scoring 2 of 6 in the UK.
