10-Music Festival (10-1)
Let's try to kick off the afternoon with a big long shot. This debuting juvenile in the M. Puype barn has trained like she has plenty of early speed and looks like a live item despite her extreme outside draw. The barn has modest stats with first-timers, but this daughter of Vancouver may prove the exception to the rule. In a maiden turf sprint in which the known element doesn't impress, this quick filly may have a decent shot to pull off a major surprise at 10-1 on the morning line.

7-Tripoli (3-1)
A thoroughly convincing winner of the Pacific Classic at Del Mar in August, this vastly improved colt should enjoy a similar stalking trip and then have every chance to win his second consecutive Grade-1 event. Bred for turf (Kitten’s Joy) but clearly most effective on the main track, the John Sadler-trained 4-year-old has been quite impressive in the morning since raced so we’re expecting another top quality performance. He's worth a play at or near his morning line of 3-1.
