Gulfstream Park – Seventh Race. Post time: 3:05 ET
3 – Of a Revolution (4-1)
Undefeated in two starts, both at Gulfstream Park, this Saffie Joseph, Jr.-trained colt will be seeking to extend his perfect streak in this year’s edition of the Limehouse Stakes. In his most recent race in mid-November, the son of Maclean’s Music missed the break and was pinched back to lose a few lengths, quickly made up the lost ground to be within range to the turn, swept on by on the far outside with an impressive turn of foot entering the lane and then dominated his allowance rivals like a really nice colt. Up in class today and listed at 4-1 on the morning line, he’s likely to provide good wagering value in the win pool and in the various exotics.
Santa Anita – Third Race. Post time 1:04 PT
4 – Snuggler’s Run (8/5)
From the first crop of the fast sprinter Straight Fire, this debuting 3-year-old gelding recently worked five furlongs from the gate in a sizzling :58 4/5 seconds and did it easily while finishing with plenty left. Listed at 8/5 on the morning line in this six furlong maiden sprint, he should take control early and dominate late in a seven runner affair that, assuming he leaves cleanly, should be his for the asking. We’ll make him a rolling exotic single and, if the price isn’t too short, a strong play in the win pool.
