We’re down to four teams and two of them will advance to battle it out for the Lombardi Trophy on Super Bowl Sunday. Both games are rematches in the conference championship round, with the Bengals victorious over the Chiefs in Week 17 and the 49ers victorious twice over the Rams, including the Week 18 win that put San Francisco in the playoffs.

Let’s look at the betting trends for Sunday’s games.

Cincinnati Bengals at Kansas City Chiefs (-7, 54.5)

The Bengals are 12-7 SU and 12-6-1 ATS going into this one, as they’ve knocked off the Raiders and Titans to get to this point. The Chiefs are 14-5 SU, but just 10-9 ATS, as they struggled throughout the first half of the season to cover spreads, but have covered both in the postseason.

The Over is 12-7 for the Chiefs, including a nice run on Overs late in the season and into the playoffs. The Bengals are 10-8-1 to the Under, but the Chiefs offense is about as strong as it gets.

Trends:

  • Bengals are 5-0 ATS in their last five games as a road underdog.
  • Bengals are 4-0 ATS in their previous four games in January.

San Francisco 49ers at Los Angeles Rams (-3.5, 46)

Under money has been the big story here, as the spread has been 3.5 most of the week. The 49ers have played extremely well in the Kyle Shanahan vs. Sean McVay matchups, but are still an underdog going on the “road” for this one. In Week 18, 49ers fans took over SoFi Stadium and appear likely to do the same again.

The Niners are 12-7 SU and 11-8 ATS, while the Rams are 14-5 SU and 10-9 ATS. The 49ers account for 40 percent of the Rams’ losses this season, which makes this game that much more interesting. San Francisco is 10-8-1 to the Under, while Los Angeles is flipped at 10-8-1 to the Over.

Trends:

  • 49ers are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games.
  • 49ers are 6-1 SU in their previous seven games.
  • 49ers are 5-1 ATS in their last six games against the Rams.
  • 49ers are 6-0 SU in their previous six games against the Rams.
  • 49ers are 4-1 ATS in their last five games on the road.
  • 49ers are 5-1 ATS in their previous six games when playing on the road against the Rams.
  • 49ers are 9-2 SU in their last 11 games this season.
  • 49ers are 4-1 ATS in their previous five playoff games.
  • Under is 6-0 in the 49ers’ last six playoff road games.
  • Under is 7-1 in the 49ers’ previous eight playoff games.

  • Rams are 6-2 ATS in their last eight games overall.
  • Rams are 5-2 ATS in their previous seven playoff games.
  • Under is 17-4 in Rams’ last 21 games as a home favorite.
  • 49ers are 5-1 ATS in their previous six meetings in Los Angeles.
  • Underdog is 6-0 ATS in their last six meetings.
  • 49ers are 4-0 ATS in their previous four meetings.
