However, despite 76% of bets taking Kentucky, the line hasn’t budged off Wildcats -3. This signals a sharp line freeze on Florida, with books refusing to move to the line toward the popular Wildcats for fear of giving out a better number on Florida. Ken Pom has Florida winning the game by two points (72-70). Florida is 9-4 at home this season. Kentucky is 4-4 on the road.
9 p.m. ET: Tulane at Houston (-14, 143.5)
Tulane (17-7) has won five straight games and just crushed South Florida 84-66, easily covering as 4.5-point road favorites. Meanwhile, Houston (25-2, ranked 1st) has won seven straight games and just beat Memphis 72-64 but failed to cover as 14.5-point home favorites. This line opened with Houston listed as a 15.5-point home favorite. Pros have taken the points with the road dog, dropping Tulane from +15.5 to +14. Tulane is only receiving 48% of bets but 84% of money, signaling a sharp contrarian bet discrepancy in their favor. Unranked teams vs ranked opponents are 232-173 ATS (57%) this season. Tulane has a one day rest advantage, having last played on the 18th while Houston last played on the 19th. Tulane also has the better offense (82 PPG vs 76 PPG).
