In the meantime, let's examine where smart money is leaning for Friday's College Basketball slate...

 

7 p.m. ET: Fairfield (-1, 126.5) at Marist

Fairfield (11-14) just snapped a four-game losing skid with a 76-72 win over Mount St. Mary, pushing as 4-point home favorites. Meanwhile, Marist (8-16) has lost seven of their last eight games and just fell to Siena 73-65 but covered as 10-point road dogs. This line opened at roughly a pick'em. We've seen respected money back Fairfield, pushing the Stags up to a 1-point road favorite. Some shops are trending further up to Fairfield -1.5. Fairfield is receiving 59% of bets but 84% of money, a sharp bet discrepancy in their favor. Ken Pom has Fairfield winning by one point (63-62). He also has Fairfield ranked much higher (247th vs 318th). Fairfield has performed better in conference play (7-8 vs 4-11). Marist is just 4-8 at home this season. Pros have also hit the over, raising the total up from 125 to 126.5. 

 

9 p.m. ET: Quinnipiac at Siena (-3.5, 140.5)

Quinnipiac (17-9) has lost three straight games and just got blown out by Canisius 85-65, losing outright as 5-point road favorites. On the flip side, Siena (17-9) has won two straight and just took down Marist 73-65 but failed to cover as 10-point home favorites. This line opened with Siena listed as a 2.5-point home favorite. Sharps have laid the points with Siena, steaming the Saints up from -2.5 to -3.5. Short home favorites -5 or less in conference play with a line move in their favor are 146-106 ATS (58%) this season. Ken Pom has Siena winning by two points (72-70). Siena is -165 on the moneyline. Siena is 8-3 at home this season and 11-4 in conference play. Siena beat Quinnipiac 83-76 back on December 30th. The total is 140.5. Siena is 16-10 to the over this season. The over is 5-0 in the las five matchups between these teams. 

 

10:30 p.m. ET: New Mexico at San Jose State (-1.5, 144.5)

New Mexico (19-7) has dropped four straight games and just got crushed by Wyoming 70-56, losing outright as 10-point home favorites. On the other hand, San Jose State (16-10) has won three of their last four games and just beat UNLV 75-66, winning outright as 6-point road dogs. This line opened at roughly a pick'em. Sharps have sided with the home team, steaming San Jose State up to a 1.5-point home favorite. San Jose State is receiving 58% of bets but 74% of money, a sharp bet discrepancy in their favor. Mountain West home favorites are 37-13 (74%) straight up in conference play. Ken Pom has San Jose State winning by one point (74-73). San Jose State is 10-2 at home this season. This is also a revenge spot for San Jose State who lost to New Mexico 77-57 back on January 17th.
