For much of this season, Duke has been in disarray, a team bedeviled by injuries, Grayson Allen’s behavioral issues and coach Mike Krzyzewski’s back surgery.
But tonight’s game against No. 8 North Carolina (21-4) is an opportunity for the 18th-ranked Blue Devils (18-5) to get back on track.
Duke, which is beginning to heat up after winning three in a row, is a 2-point home favorite over the Tar Heels in another chapter in college basketball’s greatest rivalry.
This is a good night for rivalries – Purdue is a 2-point favorite at Indiana, and UCLA is a 4½-point home favorite over Oregon.
“Carolina-Duke is going to be the biggest game of the night, so we decided to have some fun with it,” said Matthew Holt of CG Technology sports books.
