Best bets for VSiN's BetCast: Everton-Leeds

By Nigel Seeley  (

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and hopefully I can make you all some extra cash after the holiday season.

The main match is this week’s VSIN EPL BetCast game which comes from Goodison Park when Everton host Leeds kick off on Saturday 12:30 p.m. ET.

Everton have been a revelation this season under Carlo Ancelotti, a man who won the Premier League title when manager at Chelsea, and despite a bad run of injuries which resulted in losses they are still riding high in sixth place in the table (just four points behind leaders Tottenham).

This is a huge match for the Toffeemen (Everton) who can't afford to come unstuck in this one especially as teams above them look likely to drop points this weekend.

You can get even money on Everton for the win, which I am sure will be a very popular trade as they comfortably beaten sides below them in the table. When they have hosted West Brom, Brighton and West Ham, all have all been heavily beaten at Goodison with Everton scoring 13 goals in those matches.

Everton home matches this season have been cashing on the over 2.5 goal line, which has now been a winning ticket in all six of their matches at Goodison Park (29 total goals, with an average per match of 4.83).

Last week Everton went to Fulham and continued that average in a 3-2 win, and although Leeds haven't been firing in recent weeks the two styles of football played by these sides looks set for an entertaining match. Over 2.5 goals looks a nice play at -162 and I wouldn't rule out over 3.5 goals either, which is more appealing + 162.

Leeds started life back in the Premier League on fire but their recent performances haven't hit the early heights on the data.

Leeds manager Marcel Bielsa will relish the opportunity of going head to head in a tactical battle with Ancelotti but just the one win in their last five matches is a concern and one that should put many off taking the 250 on them getting a road win (surprisingly they have been bet in the last 24 hours in the UK).

Leeds played out a dire 0-0 draw against Arsenal in their last EPL match, but prior to that boring draw they had conceded four against Crystal Palace and Leicester and now up against the top marksman in the EPL Everton striker Dominic Calvert Lewin I can't see how they do not concede in this match. At 22-1 I am going to have a bit of pizza money on Everton to win this 3-2 in hopefully an exciting Betcast with lots of goals and in-play action to call.

Manchester City have been far from their best so for this season, but the one team that they would like to play each and every week is Burnley a side that whatever the weather they always beat and beat handily.

City have already faced The Clarets earlier on in the campaign and won that match easily 3-0 at Turf Moor in the EFL Cup. Last season they played twice and City won both: 5-0 at home and 4-1 in the reverse fixture.

The season before 2018-19 they met three times and City won them all without conceding 5-0 again in the two games at the Ethiad and 1-0 at Turf Moor.

City are a very, very short priced favorite at -700 but you can see why as they have won five of their last six matches against Burnley without conceding. With Burnley the lowest scorers in the EPL (just four goals), the lowest scorers on the road and winless on their travels, the City win-to-nil looks very attractive wager at -120.

If you can't get down on that market, I would suggest a play on Manchester City -2 on the Asian handicap at -133, as City have to win and win big to get their goal differential into positive.
